What will you be doing?

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to earn while you learn on our 4½ year Information Technology Degree Apprenticeship with Aston University. This is an ideal prospect for you if you would like to study for a degree, and have a great job at the same time, Anglian Water will cover your programme costs and pay you a salary too, so you’ll come out with a degree debt free!

This programme offers a combination of part time classroom study at university (Covid restrictions allowing), distance learning and work-based training to give you a BSc Honours degree in Digital and Technology Solutions as well as an Apprenticeship certificate. Anglian Water supports this by providing 20% of your working week as paid study time to fit around the demands of your role. You’ll also gain valuable skills and technical knowledge, with guidance and support throughout from an experienced team helping you apply your learning to solve real-life problems.

You’ll play a vital role as part of a friendly team exploring and finding ways of using innovative technology, harnessing the power of graphical information systems, machine learning and cloud capability to ensure the service and solutions we provide are cutting edge.

Have the ability to work as part of a team

Possess a willingness to explore and improve things for the better

Have a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above including a Maths based subject and a STEM subject, or equivalent.

Have 3 A Levels (or are predicted to achieve) grades A*-C including a Mathematics based subject and a STEM subject (or equivalent)

You must also be able and willing to travel across our region with most placements based in the Lincoln and Huntingdon areas. Some national travel may also be required for study and business events for which expenses will be paid.
