As a Continuous Improvement and Reliability Engineer in our talented team at Runcorn you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective maintenance, repair, problem solving and improvement of assets and their availability across our site.
You’ll be accountable to ensure all assigned Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules are carried out at the defined frequency and completed to the required standard.
You’ll coach operators to perform autonomous maintenance tasks, machine set ups optimisation and support growth in equipment capability as required.
You’ll be responsible for supporting capital work, including installation, commissioning and testing within area as required. Responsible for feeding into early equipment management.
You’ll review RCM activity on a weekly basis
You’ll proactively work with Operators, Engineers and team leaders to play a pivotal role in situational problem solving on shift. Resolving problems and finding solutions via RCPS
You’ll engage in start of shift meetings and performance-based team meetings to raise and address persistent performance issues.
You’ll be key in anticipating issues and be more proactive in approach, leading active solution driven initiatives with the wider engineering team
Support TLS & Operators to build asset care and RCPS capability
Your role will allow you to implement maintenance programmes that support and improve asset performance and utilisation
You’ll be responsible for responding promptly and appropriately to plant reliability issues, analyse, fault find and repair route cause problems to ensure downtime is minimized.
You’ll accurately record and promptly report the outcome of maintenance problems, via the SAP maintenance system, to facilitate the sharing of best practice.
Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets.
Your role will feature over a core shift of Monday to Friday.
