We are looking for respectful, warm and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Support Workers at our Stalybridge Intensive Support Service. You will provide person-centred support to 7 service users with learning disabilities, forensic and complex behaviours who live within individual flats at the service. You will enable the people you support to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible. The dedicated team here support individuals with the wide range of activities that they enjoy, including going to discos, swimming and going to the cinema.
Whilst previous healthcare or care worker experience is welcome it’s not mandatory. Due to the nature of our Stalybridge service we welcome applicants from all backgrounds as long as you have good communication skills and a person centred attitude.
We provide all of our Support Workers with:

Previous experience in a health care or social care setting is advantageous, however, with the excellent training we provide and due to the nature of the service we welcome applicants from all walks of life as long as you have good communication skills and person centred commitments and values.
Our service the SK15 area of Stalybridge and is not too far from the local train station.
