Working as part of a small team the successful candidate will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on the Airports HVAC systems including Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, and Split Air Conditioning. The facilities team are also responsible for providing building management services and supporting external infrastructure on the airport, training will be provided where necessary but it is essential that the successful candidate is willing to support these additional areas of the business.
Flexibility in shift pattern/working hours required at times to support the operation, in due course this may mean rostered late/night shift. Successful candidate must be willing to support others aspects of facilities maintenance including airport specific equipment, training will be required as necessary.
Full Driving License required
42 hours per week
4 on 4 off shift pattern (with some flexibility)
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the airports HVAC systems including AHUs, VRFs, VRVs, Cassettes, extract, diffusers
Carry out scheduled PPM as specified by the systems manufactures,
Carry out adjustments, repairs and/or alterations as necessary to ensure the system performs as designed
Maintain the airports F Gas register maintaining the airports electrical systems in accordance with current legislation
Ensuring that all faults are prioritised and resolved in a timely fashion so that down time is kept to an absolute minimum
Maintain building services and building fabric in accordance with ACoPs, national guidelines and or LSA procedures
Maintain airport specific systems/equipment in accordance with manufacturers recommendations
Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures
Promote safe working practices at all times, this includes the development of task specific risk assessments
Liaise/escort third party contractors at times to support the facilities team
Identify and report the need for major repairs
Ensure that all maintenance facilities and equipment are used in accordance with current health and safety regulations, and that good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
To undertake any other reasonable task as requested by the Technical Services Manager, subject to being trained and competent to do so
